The city and county of Broomfield will host its annual Great American Picnic on Thursday, July 4. The event begins at 4 p.m. It includes beer gardens, food vendors and live performances. At 9:30 p.m., a nighttime parachutists jump will take place. The fireworks show will start after the jump.
