Denver’s newest shopping destination will finally open its doors on Thursday, September 27th!

Opening Thursday, September 27 at 10 a.m., the new 330,000 square-foot center – located at I-25 and 136th Avenue in Thornton – will offer a dynamic mix of merchandise for the entire family, including fashion apparel and accessories; athletic, outdoor and fitness footwear and apparel; and much more.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony
9:30 a.m.
Location: Stage near the Food Pavilion
Shoppers are invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of Denver Premium Outlets. Thornton Mayor Heidi Williams; Stephen Yalof, Chief Executive Officer of Simon Premium Outlets; and John Villapiano, Vice President-Development of Simon Premium Outlets will be in attendance to mark the occasion.

Live Music
10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Location: Stage near the Food Pavilion
Guests will enjoy performances and musical entertainment for the whole family.

Throughout the day DJ Jordan

Noon – 1:15 p.m. Spinphony, an all-female quartet, breaks down barriers between classical, rock and pop music.

2 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. The Whitfields is a new version of Bluegrass, performing current hits from artists such as The Lumineers and Mumford & Sons.

4 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. The Long Run, Colorado’s Tribute to the Eagles, consists of five Colorado-based musicians, dedicated to the faithful reproduction of the music of one of America’s most iconic bands.

6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Soul X is a cover band that combines decades of experience in one ensemble, covering a variety of genres.

AscenDance Project
11:15 a.m., 1:15 p.m., 3:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Location: Near the Food Pavilion
Guests can watch semi-finalists of America’s Got Talent and members of AscenDance Project fuse rock climbing, music and choreography on a vertical wall. Without ropes or suspension, the dancers use sheer strength to overcome gravity with grace, beauty and artistic prowess.

VIP Shopper Club Enrollment Bar
10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Location: Main Court
Shoppers who enroll in the VIP Shopper Club during Grand Opening weekend will receive a Denver Premium Outlets Tote Bag with treats (while supplies last). The first 150 shoppers to enroll on Thursday, September 27 at the VIP Shopper Club Enrollment Bar will also receive a $25 Simon Giftcard®. It is easy and free to become a VIP Shopper Club member. The ShutterBus Photo Booth
11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Hop in, sit down, smile and enjoy! Friends and families can play with props and get their pictures snapped in Colorado’s most charming photo booth tucked inside of a vintage VW Bus.

Grand Opening Prize Package Giveaway
11 a.m. – 4:55 p.m.
Location: Main Court
Shoppers can register each day for a chance to win a fabulous prize package! Drawings will take place at the stage near the Food Pavilion at 5 p.m., and Thursday’s prize package is valued at $500. See entry forms for complete rules and regulations.

Bruz Beers
Noon – 9 p.m.
Location: Main Court
Shoppers can raise a glass of Denver’s favorite craft beer to celebrate the opening of Denver Premium Outlets! Bruz Beers offers a wide selection of year-round, seasonal and specialty Belgian Style beers. Proceeds benefit the Simon Youth Foundation, a national nonprofit that awards more than $1 million in scholarships each year to help students with the cost of post-secondary education.

Chalk Artistry
Noon – 6 p.m.
Location: Throughout the center
Bear witness as the sidewalk transforms into 3D art with chalk artist Chris Carlson. Guests can also capture the perfect photo next to two of Chris Carlson’s 3D ground drawings!
