WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 23
The 113th National Western Stock Show & Rodeo – Denver
The National Western Stock Show, the nationally recognized western heritage and entertainment event with one of the world’s richest regular season professional rodeos, one of the country’s largest horse shows and a western trade show, returns for another year to the Mile High City.

LIGHT! at Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center – Aurora
LIGHT! at Gaylord Rockies is an interactive holiday experience that immerses the viewer in color, fanciful patterns and wondrous light as you walk through indoor and outdoor paths of magical illumination and music. Highlights of the event include a forest of color-changing trees, the Valley of Light, giant music wind chimes and much, much more.
The event is free of charge.
A Kangaroo Experience at the Zoo Chateau – Golden
Spend 45 minutes face-to -face learning and interacting with Red Kangaroos. This experience includes feeding the kangaroos treats (granola), taking individual photos, learning about the kangaroos and marsupials from our “Zoo Crew”, and learning about the missions of Zoo Chateau.

Colorado Avalanche vs. Minnesota Wild at the Pepsi Center – Denver
The Minnesota Wild visit the Pepsi Center for the second time this season as they take on the Colorado Avalanche. The game starts at 7:30 p.m.

2019 Winter X Games Aspen
The X Games return to Colorado’s Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen for the world’s best winter action sports, music and festival experience. Witness the very best across four action-packed days from the best athletes in skiing, snowboarding and more. Lil Wayne, The Chainsmokers, among others will perform. All sport competitions are free and open to the public. Live coverage of the Winter X Games will air on ESPN and Denver7.

FRIDAY, JANUARY 25
Denver Winter Brew Fest at Mile High Station
Sample from over 100 amazing brews from over 40 breweries with your commemorative tasting glass, while listening to some great live music from the Burroughs on Friday night and Dead Floyd on Saturday night.

International Snow Sculpture Championships – Breckenridge
Throughout a span of five days and more than 90 hours of sculpting, 16 teams from around the world take on the challenge to hand-carve 20-ton blocks of snow into enormous works of art. The result is a temporary outdoor gallery in historic downtown Breckenridge.
Viewing days are from January 25 to January 30.

Phoenix Suns vs. Denver Nuggets at the Pepsi Center – Denver
Coming all the way from Arizona, the Phoenix Suns will take on the Denver Nuggets at 7 p.m. Make sure to be on place as the Nuggets face Devin Booker and his team. The game starts at 7 p.m.

3 Lakes Ice Fishing Contest – Granby
