Annual Heroes of A Precious Child virtual luncheon featuring Michael Oher of The Blind Side

I am reaching out to ask that you join me in supporting A Precious Child, where I am honored to be a Virtual Table Captain for their Annual Heroes of A Precious Child Virtual Luncheon.  This luncheon will benefit Colorado children in need. Last year alone, APC provided opportunities and resources valued at $15 million to 57,390 underprivileged children and 20,047 adults. As a designated essential organization, their team is rising up to an unparalleled challenge during the coronavirus pandemic. They are on the frontlines, providing emergency essentials, such as hygiene items, cleaning supplies, diapers and wipes, clothing and other basic needs items among other program services. These resources are vital to help limit the spread of COVID-19 and provide much needed relief to our most vulnerable population. A Precious Child is facing two big challenges this year: more children are struggling and the economy has depleted funding for resources to help. Nearly 88,000 children in A Precious Child’s eight-county service area live below the Federal Poverty Level. 25% of the families they served experienced homelessness in the last year.  A Precious Child serves families that were already struggling but need our help now more than ever.

In order for the organization to continue meeting the growing needs of disadvantaged and displaced children, they are hosting a virtual Heroes of A Precious Child Luncheon on April 1 to help raise vital funds in support of their programs.
